Gria at Glenfiddich Distillery last weekend. We played supporting Manran on friday and Treacherous Orchestra on Saturday.
This May, we will be dusting off our football boots ahead of the Orkney Folk Festival’s ‘Orkney vs the Rest of the World’ football match in Stromness. Training for this has already begun and although it may divide us as a band (Louise will of course be playing for Orkney) we believe a bit of competition isn’t a bad thing, and will try not to be sore losers when we hand over the cup to Orkney…
Oh, and we’ll be playing a few gigs there too!
(Photos by Louise, from the 2010 Orkney Folk Festival. And, yep, that’s festival Director Bob Gibbon, slacking off from the game, on his mobile phone, letting the side down!!!)

On saturday I played with Orkney Folk Festival’s The Gathering as part of Celtic Connections Festival in Glasgow.

Last gig with Rachel; a birthday party in the Union Chapel in London, in the style of Glastonbury Festival. First time setting up a tipi indoors for Black Dog Tipis!
