Recording in a Church for Richy Carey’s album
Award winning folk singer, songwriter and fiddle player. We had fun with fairy lights and knitted snow flakes in this shoot for her Christmas album and tour!
A few months ago I took some photos of Scots Singer Alistair Ogilvy (who I sometimes play fiddle with) for his album artwork. His debut album Leaves Sae Green is available now from his website (where you can see more of my photos). Alistair will be launching the album with a free concert/party at the Universal in Glasgow on the 26th March.
French Wives Younger
I recorded some strings on a couple of tracks with the French Wives a few months ago, here is one of the tracks which is going to be available as a free download. The album, Dream of the Inbetween comes out on the 7th May, I can’t wait to hear it!
Never underestimate the quantity of biscuits required when recording an album.
