Mharhi is a singer and flute player from Ayrshire. We had a fun, autumnal photoshoot in the Botanic Gardens and by the Kelvin river in Glasgow. I also designed an EP cover for Mharhi.

Rachel Sermanni’s EP launch tour starts tonight! We (the girls) are off to Edinburgh to play in the Pleasance Theatre. Tomorrow we head to the Lemon Tree in Aberdeen, we play the Ironworks in Inverness on saturday, then back to Glasgow, where the boys will join us for a full band concert at St Andrews in the Square.

Rachel Sermanni’s EP Black Currents which we recorded at Watercolour Studio in Ardgour this summer is now available to pre-order on itunes, the tracks are available to preview, have a listen! The EP will be released during Celtic Connections in January and tour dates have been announced for February:

I’m going to Sligo Live festival in Ireland this weekend to play with Rachel Sermanni. We are supporting Elvis Costello on Saturday and playing a gig with Admiral Fallow on Sunday.
The Fog, a track from the EP we recorded with Rachel this summer is available to listen to online. The full EP will be released early next year.
Had a great time recording Rachel’s new EP, can’t wait to hear the results when it gets a full release in November. Found a lovely review of the last EP we recorded: The Bothy Sessions
Played at Belladrum festival near Inverness with Rachel this weekend, had a fantastic time, looking forward to Loopallu Festival in September, but first, the Queen’s Hall Edinburgh as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival on wednesday 17th Aug. I’m also playing at the Fringe with Alistair Ogilvy on the 16th.
